Who this applies to
Social Plan Tenerife is a social media management agency. This policy explains how we process data when our clients authorise us to manage their Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Google Business Profile accounts through our internal management tool. The tool is not for sale or open to the public: it is used only by the Social Plan Tenerife team.
What data we process
- Data from our clients' accounts: account name, identifiers, posts, stories, statistics and permissions granted.
- Public and private interactions with those accounts: comments, messages, mentions and tags, and Google reviews, with the username and profile photo of the person who wrote them, as provided by the platform.
- Login data of the Social Plan Tenerife team for the tool.
What we use it for
- Scheduling and publishing the content the client asks us to produce.
- Reading and replying to comments, messages and reviews on the client's behalf.
- Finding the stories and posts in which the client is mentioned.
- Preparing performance reports for the client.
We do not use this data for our own advertising, we do not build profiles of the people who interact with the accounts, and we do not sell or transfer data to third parties.
Legal basis
Performance of the services contract with each client and our legitimate interest in handling the interactions their accounts receive.
Where it is stored and for how long
On Google Cloud (Firebase) servers, with access restricted to the Social Plan Tenerife team. Each client's data is kept for as long as the service lasts and is deleted within a maximum of 30 days of the service ending or of the client withdrawing authorisation, except for anything the law requires us to keep.
Providers
Meta Platforms (Instagram, Facebook), TikTok and Google, whose platforms we use through their official integrations, and Google Cloud as hosting provider.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data by writing to a.socialplantenerife@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country: in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian Data Protection Authority); in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Agency).
